 Mr. "K" Award

• The Mr. K Award of the SMZCC was established in 1998 in honor of Mr.Yutaka Katayama, better known as Mr. "K", father of the Z Car. The intent of the award is to foster participation while recognizing contributions to the SMZCC though a point system as listed below. A traveling award plaque is given annually along with  $50.00 toward dues or a gift certificate to Motorsports Auto. We plan to publish progress throughout the year so get involved and be the 2008 winner!

  > Awarded annually (January or February).
  > Traveling plaque with past winners name engraved
  > $50 gift certificate from Motorsports Auto.
  > Winner can not repeat for five years.
  > Last winner to keep records for coming year.
  > President is not eligible during term of office.
  > Participants must notify the membership chairman of activities qualifying for points award.  Participation in a non-SMZCC activities
     qualifying for points must be documented by photos, newspaper
     articles, or written statement from event sponsor(s).
